I'm not talking about snacks while on the bike, but when you get the munchies during the day and work and want to avoid the crap food and instead go for something that is nutritious and fuels you for the ride home.
My go-to snack is mixed nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews). Mixed nuts are high in fat, low in carbs, and a useful source of nutrients, including vitamin E, magnesium, and selenium.
I go with them as they come, so not roasted or salted, and when I buy a bag of them I just put some into a tub to make them easier to grab or else to pack into my bike bag.
